01

Working with Glencoe

Who we are, what we supply and why builders choose us.

Why should I choose Glencoe?

Glencoe Group has been operating since 2006 and is a one-stop shop for prefabricated timber and structural steel. Our in-house design teams integrate the steel and timber aspects of your build, giving you extra peace of mind. Good customer relations, follow-up and follow-through are rare in the building industry, and we’re committed to the kind of service that makes your next project easy to build.

Is Glencoe a good fit for my project?

We deliver quality, service and value to every customer, so you get the most out of your project without sacrificing the quality of your build. We supply timber and steel frame stage packages for a wide range of uses. If you’re after high-quality products, timely service and a friendly team, call us on (03) 9728 8866 or email admin@glencoegroup.com.au.

What is the benefit of combining timber and steel in one supply package?

Having timber and steel supplied in one package reduces the chance of issues later in your frame stage. Our in-house steel and timber design teams model and adjust the job together, so you get an integrated design, one less thing to worry about and fewer issues on site.

Quotes and orders

When to get a quote, what to send us and how to place your order.

At what stage of the build should I get a quote?

Once your working drawings and engineering are complete, we can quote your project. We recommend sending them through as soon as your building permit has been issued.

How do I get a quote?

Email sales@glencoegroup.com.au or use our quote form. Please include your architectural and structural plans, your take-off if you need loose materials, the products you want quoted, and when you need the quote back.

When should I place my order?

The earlier the better, as it depends on the size and complexity of your project. We can meet shorter lead times, but for small to medium projects we recommend at least 8–10 weeks from order to first delivery. This gives us time for the design integration and troubleshooting we’re known for. Call (03) 9728 8866 and ask for our scheduling team for current lead times.

How do I place my order?

Send us a purchase order quoting your quote number to sales@glencoegroup.com.au. If you have any questions, contact your sales representative directly.

03

Payment and delivery

Payment terms, trading accounts and getting products to your site.

When do I need to pay for my products?

Non-account customers pay a 50% deposit when ordering, with the balance of each product due before manufacture. Account customers pay 30 days from the end of the invoice month.

Does Glencoe offer trading accounts?

Yes. We offer 30-day EOM trading accounts. Ask our team for an accounts form. Once it’s returned, allow a few days for processing while our accounts team completes credit reference checks.

Who is responsible for delivery of the products?

Delivery is included in your quote but is priced site unseen, assuming no obstructions or complications such as power lines, scaffolding, debris, existing structures or poor ground. We recommend having someone on site to meet the truck. We’ll always try to unload where you’d like, but for safety the driver or crane operator makes the final call on the drop location.

What if I have trouble installing the products?

Contact your dedicated sales representative on (03) 9728 8866 and we’ll help you sort it out.
